Andrés And Winnie

Short film

Documentary

The beautiful wedding of Andres and Winnie, held at the exclusive Banyan Tree, Mayakoba, MX, was an emotional explosion. I felt a deep connection with them, especially with Winnie, who was going through the grief of losing her mother. I could relate to her emotions as I had experienced something similar, and that bond was reflected in their wedding film.
It was a multicultural wedding, with Winnie, a Hindu-American woman, and Andres, a Mexican man. The wedding was filled with incredible moments that we captured over the course of three days, full of glances, sadness, joy, and lots of love. Winnie, while searching for the perfect location for her wedding, traveled to Mexico with her mother and decided to hold their wedding at Banyan Tree, Mayakoba, which made the place even more special for her.
It was especially touching to see her sing a song in Spanish, which her mother-in-law translated for her so she could sing it, and she did it wonderfully. The wedding featured both Hindu and Mexican traditions, and since they are a very well-traveled couple, there were details from all over the world, adding a unique and cosmopolitan touch to their celebration.
I hope life crosses our paths again, because this wedding, in the beautiful Riviera Maya and Mayakoba, will always hold a special place in my heart.
